William James Walsh

Mr. William J.
Walsh is a Director of Wealth Management at Eastern Bank Corp.
He is responsible for overseeing a group of experienced professionals committed to providing trust and estate management, investment management, and financial planning to individuals and organizations throughout eastern Massachusetts.
A seasoned leader and wealth management professional, he has more than 25 years of experience in financial services.
Prior to joining Eastern Bank in 2012, Mr. Walsh served as a Director and Planning Officer at Weston Financial Group, a wealth management firm in Wellesley.
Additionally, from 2001 – 2009, he served as a Senior Vice President, City Executive and Market Leader at Bank of America/US Trust in Boston, where he managed a team of 14 private client advisors and managers dedicated to serving high-net-worth clients.
Mr. Walsh is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner and serves as an adjunct professor at Boston University.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Salem State College.
He also holds a diploma in Financial Planning from Boston University.
