Ted J. Ransby

Mr. Ransby graduated from The University of Manitoba in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
In 1965 he entered the investment business with Richardson Securities, and moved to Canadian Premier Life in 1972.
Mr. Ransby joined Great-West Life in 1974, and in 1986 was appointed Senior Vice-President, Capital Markets & Pension Investments.
He was appointed President of GWL Investment Management Ltd.
(GWLIM) upon its formation in 1994, and in 2000 was elected Chairman of the company.
Mr. Ransby has had extensive experience in many aspects of the investment business.
In addition to achieving superior performance in managing stock, bond and balanced funds in both the Canadian and UniMr. Ransby States markets, he has functioned for many years as an economist and market forecaster.
Mr. Ransby is GWLIM's Chief Investment Strategist as well as being Chairman of the company.
Mr. Ransby is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers (P.Eng.), the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
He is also a former president of the Winnipeg Society of Financial Analysts.
