Tarek Tawfik

Mr. Tarek Tawfik is Co-founder and Partner at Emotional Assets Management & Research LLP.
Mr. Tawfik was most recently Head of Private Wealth Management and Senior Investment Manager for Deutsche Bank in Saudi Arabia.
There he managed a team of Senior Relationship Managers and Senior Product Managers.
Mr. Tawfik created portfolios for ultra high net worth clients by providing investment solutions and advisory services across different investment products.
From 2000 to 2007 Mr. Tawfik worked as a Family Investment Manager for Abdulrahman Al-Rashid, (ARTAR) trading in foreign exchange, equities, options, IPOs, private placements, bonds, portfolio management and cash management services as well as the development of the Family Office.
Prior to this, Mr. Tawfik worked in the International Equities Brokerage Department for the Private and Investment Banking Group of Al-Bank Al-Saudi Al-Fransi.
There his responsibilities included developing and marketing of the European Markets, and also dealing with the US and Asian Markets.
In 1996 and 1997 Mr. Tawfik worked as Assistant Dealer with Al-Bank Al-Saudi Al-Fransi.Previous to that role Mr. Tawfik worked on the Corporate Treasury Desk.
Mr. Tawfik holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Financial Management from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
