Simon Mathies

Simon Mathies manages the Corporate Finance & Risk Management department at LANXESS.
Together with his team, he is responsible for the global asset management, the Group’s bank and capital market financing, the financial risk hedging and the cash management.
After training as an industrial clerk and studying International Business Administration at the private University of Applied Sciences in Bergisch Gladbach, Simon Mathies obtained an MBA from Nanyang Business School in Singapore.
He has been working in various positions in the finance department of the LANXESS Group for over 10 years.
