Roberto Parrella

He is a Partner in the venture capital fund area of CDP Venture Capital Sgr.
He has 20 years of experience in venture capital, private equity and investment banking.
He started his career in 2003 in the Advisory and M&A team of the Capitalia Group.
Subsequently, he was Head of the Finance Area of the newly-established Equitalia Holding for three years, and joined the CDP Group in 2010, following Cassa Depositi e Prestiti's direct and indirect investment activities in strategic shareholdings in the first years, with a greater focus on asset management companies and mutual investment funds.
From 2015 to March 2023, he was a member of the Chief Investment Officer Department of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and CDP Equity, where he was Head of the venture capital and private equity fund area.
As part of his activities, he oversaw the structuring and management of investee asset management companies and the investment of € 1,400 million in 12 venture capital funds and € 900 million in 8 private equity funds.
He holds a degree in Economics from L.U.I.S.S.
