Robert Lindo

Robert Lindo was born in the Netherlands and educated in the UK.
After qualifying as an accountant he joined AMRO Bank London in 1980 as a management trainee.
He moved to the corporate client group in 1983 where he was responsible for project finance.
In 1985 he joined the Capital Markets Group in Amsterdam, moving to New York to establish the bank's capital markets origination function in 1987.
Following the merger of ABN and AMRO in 1990 he was appointed head of Investor Relations.
In 1993 he was appointed Managing Director of ABN AMRO Securities in Asia.
In 1995 he moved to Madrid to become Managing Director of ABN AMRO SVB and Treasurer of ABN AMRO Spain.
In 1998 he became Country Manager for Denmark, Norway and Iceland.
He was appointed Head of the London based Global Consumer Electronics Group, part of ABN AMRO's TMTH business unit, in February 2001.
In Dec 2004 he became head of ABN AMRO's European network and Country Executive for the UK.
