Razvan Vlahu

Dr. Razvan Vlahu is an Economist at De Nederlandsche Bank.
He represented DNB in several consultative bodies including those of the BIS (BCBS Research Task Force) and the ECB (Macro-prudential Research Network).
He was a visiting scholar at the Toulouse School of Economics (IDEI) and the Bank of Finland.
He was seconded to the Financial Stability Division (Macroprudential Analysis) in 2012.
Prior to joining the central bank, Dr. Vlahu was affiliated to the University of Amsterdam, where he taught graduate and undergraduate courses in banking and corporate finance.
Mr. Vlahu holds a B.Sc.
Economics, Academy of Economic Studies in 2001, B.Sc.
Finance, Academy of Economic Studies in 2003, M.Phil.
Financial Economics from the Tinbergen Institute in 2005 and earned his PhD Finance from the University of Amsterdam in 2010.
