Mr. Rauf Diwan serves as Chairman & CEO of Emerging Markets Partnership in Bahrain.
He joined EMP Global in 1997.
He also was responsible for establishing and managing EMP's regional office in Singapore, and their strategy in Korea.
Previously he was with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for 15 years.
In 1997, he was Director of the Power Department of the IFC, responsible for investments in the power sector of all emerging markets.
Prior to that, he was Manager of the Power Division in 1996 and Division Manager of the East Asia Division from 1994 to 1995.
Mr. Rauf Diwan holds a B.Sc.
in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University and an MBA from Columbia University.
He was a DuPont Fellow at Columbia.
He is also a graduate of the Stanford University Executive Program.
