Ramaswamy Athappan

Ramaswamy Athappan held several positions throughout his career.
He was the Chief Executive Officer & Director at First Capital Insurance Ltd. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer at India International Insurance Pte Ltd from 1990 to 2016.

He worked as a Risk Engineer at United India Insurance Co. Ltd. Mr. Athappan also served as the President Commissioner at PT Asuransi Multi Artha Guna Tbk from 2016 to 2024.
He was an Associate at The Insurance Institute of India from 2014 to 2024 and a Member of the Workplace Safety & Health Council.
Mr. Athappan obtained his undergraduate degree from Coimbatore Institute of Technology in 1967.
