Prasong Tharachai is the founder of Project Planning Service PCL and PPS Design Co. Ltd. in 1987.
He is currently the Chairman of PPS One Works Co. Ltd. since 1987 and a Director at Phongtheerathon Co.,Ltd. Dr. Tharachai's former positions include Vice President of Council of Engineers of Thailand from 2011 to 2015, Secretary of Council of Engineers of Thailand from 2004 to 2006, Secretary of The Engineering Institute of Thailand from 2003 to 2004, President of The Engineering Institute of Thailand from 2008 to 2010, Vice President of Southeast Asia Technology Co. Ltd. from 1976 to 1987, and Vice President of Foundation For The Welfare of Needy Schoolchildren from 2014 to 2016.
Dr. Tharachai received his undergraduate degree from the University of Chulalongkorn in 1968 and his graduate degree from the Asian Institute of Technology in 1971.
