During his 15-year tenure at Merrill Lynch, he was recognized as an All-Star Analyst for 11 years by Institutional Investor and was inducted into The Wall Street Journal's Analyst Hall of Fame in 1999.
Mr. Oakes holds a master's degree in business administration from The Ohio State University in Columbus and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Mr. Oakes also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Public Accountant.
