Peter B. Franz

Peter co-founded Shoreline and is a Partner and member of the Investment Committee.
He is primarily responsible for evaluating and executing investment transactions as well as managing portfolio companies.
He also oversees the back-office operations of the firm and leverages his network to generate investment opportunities for Shoreline.
Peter has over 30 years of transactional experience and has served on dozens of private company Boards.
Prior to co-founding Shoreline, he was Co-Managing Partner of Florida Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, and previously worked in leveraged finance and investment banking.
Peter holds a B.S.
in Economics with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A.
from the J.L.
Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors.
Peter is originally from the Northeast but moved to Florida over 25 years ago where he raised his family.
He and his wife Marcy have two grown children, Samantha and Jake, and are enjoying life as empty nesters.
Peter enjoys an active lifestyle and has a finer appreciation for conquering the challenges of the business world after taking up golf in recent years.
