Pete L. Day

Prior to co-founding Leader Creek Partners, Mr. Day served as Vice President of Windswept Capital LLC, a leading mergers and acquisitions firm in Seattle.
In that capacity he was responsible for all facets of middle-market M&A transactions, from initial ownership succession planning to company valuations, due diligence, and closing processes.
He also co-founded Oak Patch Gifts.
He has worked on numerous Northwest-based M&A transactions with values ranging from $5 million to $150 million in industries ranging from commodity manufacturing to electronics retail.
Notable transactions include the recapitalization of Car Toys by TA Associates, the sale of King of the Road Maps to Rand McNally, the sale of Anco Foodservice to Food Services of America, and the acquisition of Port Townsend Paper by Northwest Capital Appreciation.
Prior to joining Windswept, he served in a variety of line management and administrative capacities in the food processing industry.
Mr. Day holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics magna cum laude from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School, where his studies focused on operations management and entrepreneurial finance.
