Mike Miller

Mr. Michael Miller is Senior Vice President at Alterra America Insurance Co. Prior to the merger of Max Capital and Harbor Point in 2010, Mr. Miller served in the same capacity for Max Specialty, having joined Max in August 2007.
Before joining Max, Mr. Miller served as Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer of the Specialty business unit of Fireman’s Fund.
He began his career in 1973 as a trainee for William H.
McGee and has held various management and executive positions within the Marine segment of the insurance marketplace.
Mr. Miller is active with various Marine Industry Organizations such as IUMI, AIMU, Maritime Law Associations and IMUA.
He has served on the Boards and Executive Committees of the AIMU and the IMUA, most recently serving as Chairman of IMUA from 2004 to 2006 and remains an active board member of the organization.
Mr. Miller holds a B.A.
in Business from Belmont Abbey College.
