Michael Goldman is Head of Investments for the Momentum funds of hedge funds range and is also Managing Director of
Pioneer Alternative Investments UK Ltd.
Michael Goldman founded Momentum’s operations in London in 1986 (acquired by Pioneer Alternative Investments in
2002).
Since the inception of the company he has been responsible for the establishment and development of the global
operations of the funds of hedge funds range in Bermuda, Hong Kong, New York and Sydney.
He has been involved in
all aspects of the alternative investment industry for 18 years and has achieved an extensive knowledge of the industry
through several market cycles.
Michael has presented papers to investment forums throughout the world for more than ten years and has chaired
conferences in many countries.
He also writes regular columns for international investment journals and newspapers.
A
former lecturer, Michael holds a BA and an MA in English Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which he
attained in 1981 and 1984 respectively.
