Maurisa Sommerfield is Executive Vice President-Operational Services of Schwab Charles Corp., which she joined in 1994.
She was Executive Vice President-Retail Client Services, Senior Vice President-Active Trader Services and Vice President-Business Planning of Schwab Charles.
Ms. Sommerfield was a Management Consultant at McKinsey and Co for 5 years.
She started her career as a Research Engineer at Merck & Co., Inc. Ms. Sommerfield is a Member of the SIFMA Operations Committee and the Equity and Options Planning Committee of the Depository Trust Company.
She received a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago.
