Merriman Wealth Management LLC is a SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in Seattle, Washington. They are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Focus Operating LLC, ultimately held by Focus Financial Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: FOCS). The firm was founded in 1983 and has joined forces with Focus Financial Partners in 2012. Merriman provides investment advice and wealth management services to individuals and households who are either saving money and planning for retirement or already retired. They also manage some accounts for pension and profit-sharing plans, high net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, as well as corporations or other business entities.

On April 12, 1853, the New York State legislature passed a bill chartering the United States Trust Co. of New York with the mission of serving as manager, executor and trustee of personal and corporate funds. They opened for business in New York City in August of that year. US Trust has divisions in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, Oregon, California, Washington, and the District of Columbia.
