Marcio Ferreira

Mr. Marcio Ferreira is a Senior Partner & Global Head of Portfolio Management at Pharo Management, Inc. He is also a member of the Risk Committee.
He joined Pharo in 2002 as a Portfolio Manager and served in that role for twenty years.
He now works in a coaching role, meeting regularly with portfolio managers to review and test the robustness of their investment theses, ensuring consistency between their market views and their positions and providing insight and analysis.
Prior to joining Pharo Management, Inc., Mr. Ferreira traded Latin American currencies, swaps, local currency bonds and structured products for five years at Merrill Lynch.
Prior to Merrill Lynch, he worked for Banco Sul America in Brazil.
Mr. Ferreira holds a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo (1991) and an M.B.A.
from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1997).
