Marc Sherman

Mr. Marc Sherman is an Advisor at Long Ridge Equity Partners LLC.
He is currently a Director of Balfour Partners, a merchant bank primarily engaged distressed investments and restructuring and advisory work.
He is an advisor to the P & A Carbon Group, LLC, a carbon project development and consulting company with offices in Bali, New York and Milan.
Previously, he was co-founder and Chairman of Woodland Trading Corp.
Before that, he was founder of the Wilsher Group, a dealer and market maker in the fixed income and commodities markets.
Prior to that, he was co-founder and Chairman of Wilsher Partners, a leading firm in commodity arbitrage, and before that, Corporate Vice President of Loeb Rhoades & Co. Prior to that, he was co-founder of the Financial Services Division of Conti-Commodities Inc., a subsidiary of Continental Grain Corp., the largest privately-held commodity operation in the world.
He began his career as an equity research associate and registered representative with First Manhattan Co. He is a former member of Comex and the New York Futures Exchange.
Mr. Sherman received a B.A.
in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A., with distinction, from New York University.
