Léa Chaftari

Ms. Léa Chaftari was an Associate Analyst at Janus Capital International Ltd.
She joined Janus as an Equity Research Associate in April 2014.
She has over 9 years of financial industry experience.
Prior to Janus, Ms. Chaftari was a summer fellow with KAUST Investment Management Co., where she worked with the liquid assets team to refine the asset allocation strategy for emerging markets, developed equities and directional hedge funds.
Before that, she was an analyst at Passport Capital focused on the Middle East and North Africa region where she initiated investment opportunities by building industry models and conducting macroeconomic research for the long/short equity hedge fund.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Mathematics and Statistics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and her MBA with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
