In 1994 Mr. Morris established his own money management firm, Morris Capital.
He merged his firm in 1999 with Evergreen Capital, which was established in 1983 by William Karr.
An investment professional with many years of money management experience.
In 1963 he began his career with Dean Witter as a “messenger” while in college.
Over a 27-year career with the firm, his positions included roles as a research analyst in New York City, broker and Assistant Manager in Seattle, and, in 1978, Sr. Vice President and Branch Manager in Bellevue.
He also has held management positions with Smith Barney and Oppenheimer.
Mr. Morris has served the investment industry as a past member of the NASD District Conduct Committee (the industry’s disciplinary arm) and officer of the Securities Industry Association.
His primary civic interest has been the Bellevue Rotary where he is a past president.
Mr. Morris graduated from the University of Washington in 1965 with a degree in Finance.
