BayernLB Capital Partner GmbH (BayernLB) is a Germany-based venture capital firm which was established in 2000. It is owned by Bayerische Landesbank. Formerly known as BayTech Venture Capital Beratungs GmbH, the firm changed their name to BayernLB Capital Partner GmbH in 2011. Located in Munich, the firm manages venture capital funds for a range of clients including the regional government-controlled Bayerische Landesbank, the European Investment Bank and other major institutional investors and insurance companies.

BayernLB Private Equity Management GmbH (BayernLB-PE) is the wholly-owned private equity subsidiary of Bayerische Landesbank Girozentrale in Germany. The firm was established in 1969 to provide corporate succession and growth financing solutions for medium-sized companies. Based in Munich with an additional office in Austria, BayernLB-PE manages private equity funds for BayernLB and third-party investors. The firm provides investee companies with their experience, expertise and established network of contacts in Germany, Austria and Europe.
