Belding is Vice President-Marketing at Norwest Venture Partners.
Before joining Norwest in 2001, she was director of corporate communications at Calico Commerce, Inc., an e-commerce software company, where she was responsible for strategic planning and execution of public relations, investor relations, and customer relations programs.
Earlier, Ms. Belding was an account supervisor at the Horn Group, a San Francisco-based public relations consultancy, where she played a high-profile role in strategic client service as well as agency and account team management.
She developed and managed full-spectrum corporate public relations programs for such companies as Calico Commerce, Norwest Venture Partners, Commerce One, the Chasm Group, Eloquent, McKinsey & Company's electronic commerce practice, and Visigenic Software (acquired by Borland).
Previously she worked in the Ketchum Public Relations Technology Group in San Francisco, where her clients included Hewlett Packard, Federal Express, and Genentech.
Ms. Belding holds a bachelor of science in journalism with a concentration in public relations from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
