Mr. Joseph P.
Wolnick is Managing Principal & Chief Investment Officer at Halcyon Asset-Backed Advisors LP.
Prior to joining Halcyon in December 2005, Mr. Wolnick was a partner at Bayside Capital during 2004 and 2005.
Prior to Bayside, Mr. Wolnick was partner and Chief Credit Officer of BVFMAC from 2001 to 2004, where he was responsible for the company's credit risk management and special servicing of a whole loan Bank and asset backed securities portfolio.
Mr. Wolnick also served as a Sr. VP of BVFMAC (1999-2001) and a Corporate VP of First City Financial (1994-1999) where he was involved with the acquisition and servicing of distressed consumer, corporate loans portfolios and Mexican debt and equity investments.
Mr. Wolnick was also a VP of corporate M&A activities and Chairman of a wholly owned Mortgage Banking subsidiary.
From 1987-1994, Mr. Wolnick was employed at The Bank of Boston as a Director of Commercial Real Estate Lending, where he managed a commercial loan origination platform for non rated debt.
Mr. Wolnick received his B.S.
from Central Connecticut University in 1977.
