Joseph P. Newhouse

Joseph P.
Newhouse is currently the Director of Aetna Foundation, Inc. and the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
He is also a Professor at Harvard University and a Member of the National Academy of Medicine (United States) and the National Academy of Medicine.
Previously, he served as an Independent Director at Aetna, Inc. from 2011 to 2018, a Deputy Program Manager-Health Sciences Research at The RAND Corp.
from 1968 to 1988, and the Head-Economics Department at Pardee Rand Graduate School from 1972 to 1988.
He was also a Director at Abt Associates, Inc. and a Member-Editorial Board at New England Journal of Medicine.
Dr. Newhouse received his undergraduate and doctorate degrees from Harvard University.
