John L. Hornor

New England Conservatory of Music functions as a college and university. It educates and trains musicians of all ages. It offers orchestral instruments and guitar, orchestral and wind ensemble conducting, jazz and contemporary improvisation, voice and opera, music-in-education, historical performance and world music, preparatory school programs, and distance learning options. The school was founded by Eben Tourjée and Robert Goldbeck on February 18, 1867 and is headquartered in Boston, MA.
