James Robert Learmonth

Mr. James R.
Learmonth, CFA, is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Harvest Portfolios Group, Inc. He joined Harvest in June of 2015 bringing over 14 years of experience in the asset management industry to the firm.
Prior to joining Harvest, Mr. Learmonth spent the majority of his career as a member of the U.S.
Equity team at a major Canadian asset management firm where he developed a disciplined approach to identifying attractive investment opportunities.
He served as a Portfolio Manager for over 6 years, specializing in U.S.
equities with investment responsibilities related to a variety of diversified and sector-focused mandates.
His main areas of focus included the Utilities, Information Technology and Health Care sectors as well as broadly diversified Socially Responsible Investing themes.
He also held progressive Investment Analyst roles during his tenure, with an emphasis on evaluating opportunities in the U.S.
Information Technology sector.
He graduated with honours from Brock University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in the Finance concentration and is a CFA Charterholder.
