Heiko Kottkamp-Ramann

Heiko grew up in a small, placid village in East Westphalia.
A finance-orientated family inspired an early aptitude for numbers, culminating in an internship for a local bank at just 14 years old.
After high school graduation and vocational training as a banker, he worked as a consultant for corporate banking clients, going on to study European Business Management at the private University of Economics in Paderborn.
He completed his Masters with honors.
Starting out, Heiko worked at two fast-growing start-ups (one corporate, one VC financed).
Until 2002, he was in charge of controlling and accounting at Bertelsmann Online (BOL) for Germany and Switzerland.
Heiko then became International CFO of Parship, the leading European online matchmaking service, for six years, expanding the company into 14 countries.
Heiko has been CFO of HV Capital since 2008.
He brings in-depth experience of what young companies need for international expansion.

After this Heiko recommends carving out a little time for his family, photography, travel, skiing, trekking and cars.
