He is currently the President & Chief Executive Officer of Brightmark LLC.
He is also currently the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Earth, Inc., Chairman of Zincfive, Inc., Director of Solargen Commercial Services, Inc., Director of Solargen Holdings, Inc., and a Member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Powell previously held positions as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Solar Power Partners, Inc. from 2009 to 2013, Director of Solargen Energy, Inc. from 2010 to 2011, Director of Nevo Energy, Inc., Director of Correlate Energy Corp.
from 2021 to 2024, Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of Pacific Gas & Electric Co. from 2005 to 2008, Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of PG&E Corp.
from 2005 to 2008, Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 2002 to 2005, and Partner at Arthur Andersen LLP from 1990 to 2002.
Mr. Powell received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1988 and his graduate degree in 1990.
