Frank D. Ieraci

Mr. Frank D.
Ieraci, CFA, is a Senior Managing Director & Global Head of AE at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Private Investments and a Senior Managing Director & Global Head of Active Equities at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
He leads our Active Equities department globally, including the North America, Europe, Asia and LatAm regions.
Active Equities invests in public, and soon-to-be public companies, leveraging long-term fundamental research to generate unique company specific insights.
He joined CPP Investments in 2007 and has held various senior leadership roles, including Head of Active Fundamental Equities, where he was responsible for managing a concentrated portfolio of equity investments and leading a team of sector specialists; and most recently Managing Director, Head of Research and Portfolio Strategy, leading data-driven research efforts and portfolio design and construction for Active Equities.
Prior to joining CPP Investments, he was a sector specialist responsible for active equity investments in the media industry globally for Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
Prior to that, he was an investment banker for BMO in the M&A group.
He holds a BA in Economics and Management Science from Ryerson University, and an MA in Financial Economics from the University of Toronto.
He is a CFA charterholder, and holds an ICD.D Director designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
