Mr. Dela Wosornu is Head-Finance & Investment Banking at NewWorld Renaissance Securities Ltd.
Mr. Wosornu contributes to the Group’s investment banking and finance and equity strategy in Africa.
From August 2009-April 2010, he was general manager, business development for SDC Finance and Leasing/SDC Brokerage Services Limited.
Prior to this, he was director and head, financial institutions, Standard Chartered Ghana.
Mr. Wosomu started his career with Standard Chartered Bank, as a management trainee in 1999.
In his 10 years with the bank, he worked in various roles including sales and marketing dealer, treasury (SCB Ghana); e-business analyst, global markets (SCB London); deputy head of sales, global markets Ghana (SCB Ghana) and consultant to the global markets sales team (SCB Cameroon).
Mr. Wosornu is an Associate of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, and a member of its influential IMANI Alert Service team.
He is a board member for Habitat for Humanity Ghana.
Mr. Wosornu received his BSc (Economics) and PG (Business Economics with Law) from the University of Buckingham.
