Prior to joining Tricon in 1998, Mr. Van worked in the real estate lending group of the Royal Bank of Canada.
Before joining the Royal Bank, he spent eight years with two of Toronto's leading boutique real estate consulting firms: N.
Barry Lyon Consultants and Stamm Economic Research.
At both consulting firms, he undertook a variety of mixed-use, commercial, and residential development studies for private sector developers, financial institutions, and public sector agencies.
Mr. Van received an MBA from the University of Ottawa and a B.A.
with Honors in Economics and Geography from Queen's University.
