Mr. Christopher H.
Young is a Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer at National Public Finance Guarantee Corp.
and an Assistant Vice President at MBIA, Inc. Mr. Young responsible for directing National Public Finance Guarantee Corporation's financial operations including accounting, tax, planning, reinsurance, and rating agency and regulatory relationships.
Mr. Young also oversees Investor Relations at National.
From 2001 to 2009, Mr. Young worked at MBIA Insurance Corporation most recently as a Director of Corporate Strategy responsible for strategic planning, special initiatives and establishment of alternative business platforms.
Before this, Mr. Young was responsible for a variety of new business activities in the operating assets and whole business securitization sectors, small business loan transactions and structured settlement securitization.
Before MBIA, Mr. Young worked in Washington, DC providing state and local legislative consulting to national clients focused on budgetary, banking and insurance issues.
Mr. Young earned a BA in Political Science from the George Washington University and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.
