Mr. Welch received an MBA with a finance concentration from Suffolk University and an undergraduate degree in economics from Syracuse University.
Prior to joining Meketa Investment Group, he was a financial analyst at HarbourVest Partners.
Additionally, he worked in the Capital Management Group for First Union Bank, and the Starwave Corporation, a Seattle-based technology company.
Mr. Welch is a speaker at industry events, including the Massachusetts Association of Contributory Retirements Systems, and the Institute for International Research Mezzanine Conference.
He also gave the Keynote Address at the Private Equity World Middle East 2005 Conference in Dubai, UAE and at the Private Equity World Africa 2005 Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa.
