Mr Bruce McGowan, aged 59, Joint Executive Vice-Chairman, joined Fortune Oil in May 2000 and was appointed as a director in June 2000.
Mr McGowan was Projects Director for Vitol Asia Pte Limited in Singapore for 8 years prior to joining Fortune Oil, and had participated in the establishment of various joint ventures between Vitol S.A.
and Fortune Oil in China over that period.
Previously he held positions in refining, project development and trading activities with Shell and Total in Australia, Europe and Singapore.
Mr McGowan graduated from the University of Sydney with a B.E.
degree and received an MBA from Macquarie University.
