Mr. Brian T.
Nelson, CFA, is a Sector Portfolio Manager at Invesco Advisers, Inc. He is responsible for the management of a number of sector portfolios, specializing in the technology sector, as well as a number of mid cap equity portfolios.
Mr. Nelson began his investment career in 1988 as a telecommunications and technology analyst with Franklin Templeton before being named portfolio manager in 1992.
In 1995, he joined Chancellor LGT Asset Management (prior to this firm being bought by Invesco) as an analyst and was promoted to portfolio manager in 1998.
In 1999, he joined Salomon Smith Barney as a vice president and senior analyst and, prior to rejoining Invesco, was a senior telecommunications analyst for RCM Global Investors from 2000 to 2004.
It was as a senior equities analyst that he rejoined our firm and was promoted to his current position in 2007.
He earned a BA degree from the University of California Santa Barbara.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the Securities Analyst Society of San Francisco.
