Ashok V. Vaswani

Mr. Vaswani joined Brysam in June 2007 after 20 years with Citigroup.
His last position at Citigroup was CEO, Asia Pacific, Global Consumer Bank based out of Singapore.
Mr. Vaswani was also a member of the Citigroup Operating Committee, the Citigroup Management Committee, and the Global Consumer Planning Group.
In addition, he served as a Director on the Board of Asia Pacific VISA International.
Over the last twenty years, Mr. Vaswani has focused his career on Global Consumer Banking demonstrating a passion for building businesses.
He started his career in Mumbai, India with the launch of the Consumer Bank there.
He went on to work in the Gulf, Turkey, Belgium, New York and Singapore.
Mr.Vaswani has been deeply involved in the launch and development of Consumer Businesses for Citi – across Retail Banking, Cards and Consumer Finance, in Central Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In 2001, he assumed the responsibility of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for CitiCards, North America.
In May 2004, Mr. Vaswani took over as CEO for Citigroup’s Asia Pacific Consumer Bank.
Mr. Vaswani graduated from Bombay University, Sydenham College, College of Commerce and Economics and has post graduate degrees from both the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of India.
