Andriy Shapowal

Mr. Andriy Shapowal is a Co-Chief Investment Officer & Partner at Investure LLC.
He joined Investure in January 2011 and has responsibility for overseeing all investments across the public and private asset classes as Head of Manager Selection.
Prior to joining Investure, Mr. Shapowal was a Managing Director at the University of Virginia Investment Management Company (UVIMCO) where he was responsible for UVIMCO's equity and hedge fund portfolios.
Before working at UVIMCO, he was a member of the investment team at JPMorgan Partners and its predecessor firm, Chase Capital Partners, where he participated in a wide variety of direct public and private equity investments.
He earned a BS with highest honors from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business.
