TSNIIS AO engages in scientific research, testing, certification, standardization, and construction and reconstruction of transport facilities. Its activities include development of the regulatory framework, innovative designs, materials and technologies of designing, and construction of transport facilities; development of regulatory and guidance documents on the design and construction of bridge, tunnel, waterworks, railways and highways, and marine coastal protection structures; creation of new materials and technologies for transport construction, including for extreme natural climate conditions; and standard and special testing and certification of materials, products, and structures for the transport construction.
