Formerly known as SAM Sustainable Asset Management AG, the firm was founded in 1995 as the first asset manager focused exclusively on Sustainability Investing. They were acquired by Robeco Group in 2007 and renamed RobecoSAM AG in 2013 as part of Robeco's strategy to further align its group-wide Sustainability Investing activities. The firm became Robeco Schweiz AG in 2020.
