Steve Rosenblum

Mr. Steven Rosenblum is a Managing Director & Head of Real Assets at GenTrust LLC.
He is responsible for the selection, oversight, and management of the firm's public and private investments in real assets.
His impact at the firm's is tangible, as he sources, structures and executes transactions that represent long term cornerstones of client portfolios.
Prior to joining GenTrust, Mr. Rosenblum was a Managing Director of portfolio management at Element Capital, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund whose clients included sovereign wealth funds, pensions, insurance companies, and endowments.
He was responsible for idea generation, trade structuring, and risk management across global fixed income markets including derivatives, sovereign and inflation-linked bonds.
In this capacity, he developed investment strategies using macroeconomic, political, and market structure research in addition to quantitative modeling and analysis.
He led several business development initiatives and recruited key personnel for the firm's expansion.
Prior to Element Capital, he spent a decade at Goldman, Sachs where he was a Managing Director in the Global Interest Rate Products group.
He traded both linear and non-linear derivatives with the largest institutional clients in the world including corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, and hedge funds.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University with BS in Applied Mathematics and Economics.
