Sahasranamam Subramanian

He was the Chief Technology Officer of ConvergeLabs Corporation and led that company's efforts to produce its MaxG product allowing 3G type services over existing GSM networks and handsets.
Prior to ConvergeLabs, Mr. Subramanian was head of the Telecom Competency Center for Cognizant Technology Solutions, India.
Prior to his involvement with the Telecom Competency Center, he was with IBM T.J.
Watson Labs.
Subu is the Vice-Chair with IPTC, Regional Secretary for IEEE ACM transactions (Asia Chapter) and a former advisor to the Board of Directors of Innova Telekom and Ostrech Telekom.
He is also former Vice-Chair of 3G SPAN WG3, an IEEE Elected Fellow for 1999, and a Fellow Scientist for the Hypercube Project at CMU.
Subu holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Kobenhavn Universitat and a MS in Operations Research and MS in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
