Robbie John Burkhart

Mr. Robbie J.
Burkhart, CFA MBA, is Chief Executive Officer & Co-Chief Investment Officer at Blue Rock Advisors LLC.
He is a member of the Investment Committee and his primary responsibilities include investment manager research and evaluation.
His investment industry experience began in 1997.
He serves on the board of directors for the Partnership Academy, an urban charter school and also serves on the Investment Committee of The Minneapolis Foundation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Burkhart managed corporate cash and pension assets for ALLETE, Inc. He joined their investment group in 1998 and served as the lead analyst of alternative investment strategies.
In addition, he co-developed and managed both a risk arbitrage strategy and a long-short market-neutral equity strategy.
In his previous positions, he worked as an internal auditor for ALLETE.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior with a B.S.
in Accounting in 1997, and the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management with an M.B.A.
in 2006.
He passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant examination in 1998.
He is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota and the CFA Institute.
