Mr. Richard T.
Venegar is President & Chief Executive Officer at Milestone Growth Fund, Inc since February 2007.
He is on the Board of Directors at The Minneapolis Society of Fine Arts.
Prior to Milestone, he was a senior vice president of Pacesetter Capital Group, a $250 million private equity fund based in Dallas, Texas.
Moreover, Mr. Venegar became the acting President of one of Pacesetter's portfolio companies, leading a turnaround in less than six months.
Prior to Pacesetter, he was co-founder and managing partner of Levmark Capital Fund, a buyout fund.
Prior to Levmark Capital, he was a senior executive at Equico Capital Corporation, one of the first and most successful SSBICs in the nation.
Before Equico Capital, he was a senior field operations analyst for the Ford Motor Company.
Mr. Venegar has experience in a wide range of industries including food, packaging, communications, telecommunications, printing, consumer retail and electronics.
He has also invested in the key classes of private equity including buyouts, early stage venture capital and Mezzanine.
Over the last nine years, he has generated net realized capital gains and realized appreciations of over $100 million for investors.
Over his career, Venegar has generated an overall gross IRR of over 29%.
He is a long-time member of the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) and is involved with numerous not-for-profit organizations.
Mr. Venegar graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Journalism and received an M.B.A.
with a finance concentration from Tulane University Graduate School of Business.
