Richard Park

As Vice President of Human Resources for Distributed Energy Systems (DESC), Dick manages the human resources programs and services and provides leadership in organizational development.
Mr. Park has initiated training and development programs for all employees and the leadership team.
He has added best practices in recruiting and selecting employees, and has facilitated Northern in defining the company's values and managing the evolution of its unique culture.
Dick has created integrated and best practice systems throughout DESC for benefits, compensation, performance management and development.
Prior to joining Northern, Mr. Park has held leadership roles including Director of Human Resources at Green Mountain Energy and Senior Vice President, Planning at Banknorth Group.
Mr. Park is a member of the Vermont Labor Relations Board.
He received a BA from Middlebury College and has a M.Ed.
and a Certificate of Advanced Studies from the University of Vermont in Organization and Human Resource Development.
