Richard G. Johnson

Prior to joining Avera, Mr. Johnson spent 25 years in operations positions of increasing responsibility with Mallinckrodt, recently acquired by Tyco Healthcare, where he was most recently Vice President of Imaging Operations with responsibility for the production, planning, and capital projects for their $750M line of diagnostic imaging pharmaceuticals and devices.
Mr. Johnson began his career with Burroughs Wellcome where he held a number of supervisory and engineering positions in bulk drug synthesis, sterile products, and corporate engineering.
Mr. Johnson received his M.B.A.
from East Carolina University and his B.S.
in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
