In 2004, they acquired Tempest Investment Counselors, Inc., a local money management firm specializing in managing assets for high net-worth individuals. Denver Investment Advisors was acquired by Segall Bryant & Hamill LLC in 2018. Denver Investment Advisors manages assets for an array of individual and institutional investors, including corporate and public pension plans, multi-employer plans, foundations and endowments, healthcare organizations, insurance companies and financial intermediaries. The firm provides investment management services for certain of their investment styles as an advisor and/or sub-advisor to investment companies, including their proprietary family of mutual funds, Westcore Funds. Denver Investment Advisors also provides portfolio management services to third party sponsors of wrap fee programs, including providing model portfolio information on a non-discretionary basis. Denver Investment Advisors maintains the Workplace Equality Index, which is an index of companies that support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality in the workplace.
