Before joining Blackstone in 2003, Mr. Genereux was a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston (now Credit Suisse (US)) in the media and telecom group where he worked on various transactions, including acting as financial advisor to AT&T regarding all key elements of its restructuring from 2000 through 2002, as well as advisory and capital raising transactions for other major telecom companies, including Qwest and BCE, Inc. He previously was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch & Co. working with industrial and consumer product clients, including Alaska Air, General Motors, Nu Skin Enterprises, PepsiCo and Yum! Brands, and financial sponsor clients.
Mr. Genereux received a BS from the School of Business and Accountancy at Wake Forest University and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University.
Mr. Genereux is also a Certified Public Accountant.
