Lucien Bergevin

Mr. Bergevin began his career with Mouvement Desjardins in 1968, where he rose through the ranks to hold the posts of General Director of Caisse populaire Chateauguay and Vice President, Regional Operations, at the Montréal and western Québec office.
In this latter position he engineered a major restructuring of the office, undertaken in 1991.
He joined Desjardins Venture Capital, formerly known as Investissement Desjardins, as Senior Vice President, Administration and Network in June 1995.
He is currently a member of the board of directors of Le Devoir newspaper, and is a governor of the Montréal Board of Trade.
He also sits on the boards of Desjardins Regional Funds of Bas-Saint-Laurent, Estrie, Montréal, Québec, Richelieu-Yamaska and Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
In addition, he actively participates in several social and/or economic organizations.
He holds an undergraduate degree in administrative sciences from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales in Montréal.
