T-Link di Navigazione Company was set up in February 2009 and start operating in the same year on April. Further to following capital increases, there are also changes in the shareholders, which at present show the absolute majority in the hands of Private Equity Fund Cape Regione Siciliana and other partners Caronte & Tourist S.p.A., Moby S.p.A, Aelle Investimenti S.r.l. of Romeo and Costa, and the financial company Oxon owned by the Conti family. The reasons why T-Link was born are linked the wish to offer commercial operators - Sicilian and not - the ideal solution for needs of connection between Sicily and the continent on a strategic navigation trade, on which the ratio between nautical mile and a kilometre by road is more advantageous. A strategic choice thanks to which T-Link proposes itself as a leading actor in the development of the project 'Autostrade del Mare' (Sea Motorways) within the Mediterranean basin, offering a top quality service, conceived to satisfy at best the need of commercial traffic, at highly competitive prices. From the departure times to the ports of call, from the fleet employed to the dedicated personnel, every particular has been studied to guarantee customers a comfortable, convenient and safe voyage.
